The Mediterranean Meditation Olive Oil Salt Scrub is one of my favourites in the Norwex skin care range.
Made from 100% Dead Sea salt, which is super high in minerals, organic olive oil and organic citrus essential oils, with no nasties, it is like a little home spa treatment for your skin.
I especially love to use it on my hands and feet, but of course you can scrub your whole body too!
The scrub provides real, soothing relief for dry, rough skin on hands, elbows, knees and feet, and anywhere else you use it.
How do you use it? It just takes a very small amount. Scoop a little into your hands to scrub them – if you’re not bathing, do this over the sink, as you will likely have salt dropping off. Rub it into your hands, then gently rinse of, trying not to rub all the olive oil off. You will be amazed how soft your hands feel afterwards.
Try this:
Before bed, scrub your feet with the olive oil salt scrub, gently rinse off, then follow up either with some of our body lotion or even just some plain olive oil rubbed into your skin. Pop on a pair of socks and leave overnight. In the morning, your feet will be so soft, you’ll be amazed!
Or try putting a couple of tablespoons into your bath for a relaxing soak. Your skin will absorb the minerals from the salt, and will be naturally moisturised by the oil. Soaking in salt from the Dead Sea has been shown to improve psoriasis, eczema and even arthritis.
Just be cautious using it in the bath or shower, is it does make things slippery!

I LOOOVE this stuff. I use it on my hands once a week, and my feet whenever I can be bothered (so less often) I bought some last year in winter – so over six months ago – and it’s not empty yet! I am going to try your trick with the socks tonight!
What I love to do is fill a low bucket with warm water and scrub my feet over it (so the excess salt scrub falls into the water), then sock them till the water cools. They come out all soft and lovely!
That’s exactly what I did the other night Sarah 🙂 And then on with the socks overnight!
I have heard the Norwex beauty products are very good. I’d love to give this a go on my poor cracked heels. I need all of the help I can get! #teamIBOT
Yeah, they are very good Renee – well the ones I’ve used.
My heels were like that too, after 6 months of travelling! Worse than usual even!
I blog quite often and I really thank you for your information. This article has really peaked my
interest. I’m going to bookmark your website and keep checking for new
