How to Use the Norwex Hair Turban

Last updated on February 27th, 2024 at 02:38 pm

One question I get a lot from my Norwex customers is how to put the hair wrap (aka turban) on. It’s something I like to model at bath & skin care demos (I think I look great in a turban and spa robe!! – over my clothes folks, over my clothes!), but it’s easy to forget until you do it yourself. So here’s a quick video that demos the hair turban. I’ll add a couple more tips after the video too, so make sure to scroll down!

So one thing she doesn’t mention is that you *can* do it the other way around, with the button at the front – if you have trouble with bending forward like that, it’s worth experimenting.

Another tip is, if you have a fringe at the front, pull that out after you put the turban on – otherwise it can dry your hair so effectively that you have to re-wet your fringe to style it! 🙂

Lastly, I just want to mention that a wet pillow encourages more dust mites. So especially if you *aren’t* using the mattress cleaner, I recommend getting your hair as dry as you can before going to bed.

So I hope that’s helpful. I looove my hair turban. I hate blow drying my hair, and because I have thick hair it takes a really long time to dry naturally. So I love that with the hair turban, it absorbs about 70% of the water in around 10-15 minutes. Mostly I then just comb my hair and let it dry naturally, without dripping on my shirt, but if I do then blow dry it, it’s waaay quicker than it would otherwise be.

And of course, Norwex always stands behind their products, so there’s the 2 year warranty and 60 day satisfaction guarantee. I’ve had mine for over two years though – I know cause I took it on our road trip around the States in 2014 – and it’s still doing the job!

This post is mostly for those people who already have the hair turban, but as always, if you would like more info about Norwex you can either check out my Norwex website, or just contact me here. And of course, if you are in Australia you can buy the Hair Wrap here in light blue. If you are elsewhere, you can go to Norwex.com and see if your country is listed 🙂
